Whenever and wherever possible we promote and support products Made in the USA.  Given a choice.. even though price may be slightly higher.. we believe in supporting the small companys producing superior products here in the states. Among the goods offered here on this site you will find products hand made by small Mom and Pop shops, Amish made, and one of a kinds built and sold by your neighbors, your sons, your daughters.  Great ideas with loving attention to detail.       

Store Location

Located on the outskirts of St. Louis, Missouri in the middle of horse country,  Saddle-Up is not your typical retail saddlery, but a small farm business specializing in saddle fit and outfitting todays trail riders.  The owner, Summer Koetting, has logged thousands of miles on her horses over the years, so she knows the ins and outs of going the distance.  Summer has specialized in saddle fitting  since 1999, personally testing and analyzing fit and comfort of trail gear on her own horses as well as fitting saddles and tack for her customers.  Always looking for new ways to improve fit, she is well known for her ability to problem solve saddle fit for both horse and rider,  and to help her customers attain a safe and comfortable ride.

Personal Saddle Fittings by Summer  are scheduled by appointment at our place or yours, OR you can mail in your wither tracings and pictures for Summer to analyze. Trailer in, or if you are within a 30 mile radius of our location, Summer can come to you. (See Fee Schedule)   Summer is available for Group saddle fittings and Clinics upon request.

Fitting Fee Schedule

Trailer In:  Bring Your Horse to Saddle-Up $75.00 per horse.  3 Horse Maximum.  If you are coming in from out of town and need to spend the night.. not a problem.  We have stalls, pasture and electric for your trailers for an overnight visit.  

Farm Call: - Summer will travel to you within 30 miles of our location.  $125.00 for the first horse. $75 for the 2nd and 3rd horse (3 Horse Maximum)

Mail In Fitting: $50 per horse.   Please follow the directions in our "how to" guide as closely as possible.   CLICK HERE  to go to our mail in saddle fitting instructions.     

All Trailer In fitting fees and mail in fitting fees, or $75 of Farm Call fees, will be applied towards your purchase of a New or Used Tucker saddle from Saddle-Up!
